Everyone is Invited to the....

Nativity. Katherine is meticulous about her nativity set being just "so" on the coffee table. On this day, I kept walking by and thinking something was just.... different. Look to the far right hand side. I guess everyone is invited.

SNOW way!!!!!!!!!!

For the THIRD year in a row, it has snowed at our house! Katherine has seen more snow in the past three years than I have seen in my life! It started snowing this year while we were at our preschool Christmas party at church. Jody and I were so afraid that it was gonna stop and Katherine wouldn't get to play in it very much so we let her play when we got home that night. See the pictures in the dark???? I should tell you that it was also about 10 o'clock and I was letting my four year old run wild. (You only live once :) But the next morning it was still beautiful so..... Katherine woke us up at about 6 am! haha! We had so much fun! I'm afraid she is gonna be disappointed next year if we don't have a blizzard!

Covenant Christmas

Katherine's Christmas program at her school was wonderful this year. Her class is just precious. They are all growing up so much. It makes me so sad that this is her last year at Covenant! It is hard to believe that we have celebrated 3 Christmas' there!

For the program the 3's, 4's, and 5's sang several songs. They did a great job! Meme, Gramps, and Lee Lee were able to come and we were so glad!

After the program, Katherine invited us all to lunch. haha! We went to Nick's. (her favorite, we are raising her right) Aunt Lee gave Katherine a BEAUTIFUL white Christmas gown. We can't wait for her to wear it on Christmas Eve night!

How to Treat a Turkey

Katherine was asked to bring a salty snack to share with her class for Thanksgiving so we made these fun turkey treats. The hard part was finding a clear plastic glove! These gloves are from the kitchen at our church. It seems a restaurant supply is the only place you can find them. Gobble, gobble!!

Katherine's Field Trip

Katherine's class went to the pumpkin patch last week. It was so much fun to see her with her little class. She has the cutest class! I love seeing her play with all of her school friends, especially her sweet friend, Eliza. Katherine and Eliza have been in the same class since the they were two and they have always been best friends. Eliza was the first little friend that Katherine made on her own and I have gotten to know and love her mommy, too! We had a great time in the patch!

Scary Ghosts

We made scary ghosts last week to share with our friends. They are tootsie pops covered with white paper towels and decorated. My friend Amie told me about this craft. OK, so she told me about the painted pumpkins, too! I have had "idea emergencies" lately!!! Katherine wants to do a project everyday after school and I am running out of fun ideas. So, thanks Amie. Your the best. I'm sending Katherine to stay with you. We also made your mummy cupcakes.

Pumpkin Project

Katherine painted baby pumpkins with glow in the dark paint. They turned out cute and really do glow in the dark! We got the paint at Michael's if you would like to try this fun craft!
